One time, two times, when will the streak end? Bill and I came out of our table relatively strong, only to move to the "final table" (OK there were only 2 to start with) into a monster stack in Mike Harris. I think the reality is that we just don't know shit about poker.

It was a great turnout, even my imaginary childhood friend Allen showed up. He was in 3rd at our table after about 20 minutes. He went to Ralph's for some half & half and never came back.

Next up: the drama of the final (likely) game of the year....Although David's 47th birthday is December 31st...and he'd like a game, it may not come together (5 is an official game for points)....

Our next game is Saturday December 26th at the American School of English. This should determine the winner....as long as the Behroozinator shows up, it is looking like his....unless there is another game 12/31. Second place gets these Big Lebowski action figures.

What a week it was! Jason and Alana were married on Saturday Oc

tober 17th here in Seattle. Ok, that seems pretty important but when you realize that Phil was in town from Milwaukee and took the home team for a ride on the Hoan Bridge all the way to the bank, you know something special was afoot. Once again, the local yokels were clobbered by a new player. Man, do we just not know shit?

In any event, it was our biggest pot ever, much of it going to a gift to the bridal couple.....

Despite some unforseen conflicts, we had a hell of a turnout for the Saturday September 12, 2009 game! We had 83 entrants; the final table included: Behrooz, Joseph, Bill, Al, Mark, David, and Rick. You can just make out Rick in his red cap to the right of the center of the photo.

Igor Strikes Back!!!

Time came for I Keller on August 13, 2009. With our sturdiest pot to date, Rick overcame an early DOMINANT chip lead from Slammin' Salmon to take first place. David, fresh from packing for his trip to Jellystone and Dino, arrived late and left with 2nd place. Huseyin, in his swan song at the Seattle Poker Club, took third.
